Dr. Bennet George earned his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.

An assistant professor at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), Dr. George has been in practice since 2011 and is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. With a focus on adult and senior patients, he specializes in interventional cardiology and minimally invasive procedures. His primary clinical interests are preventative cardiology, coronary interventions, peripheral vascular disease and structural cardiology, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and patent foramen ovale (PFO) repair.

His patients value his clinical skills, attentiveness and compassion.

When not seeing patients, he enjoys tennis, golf and music.
