Dr. Arnav Kumar earned his medical degree at Government Stanley Medical College in India. After his residency in internal medicine at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, he completed a fellowship in structural heart and peripheral vascular interventions at Harvard Medical School-Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, Mass. He went on to complete fellowships in interventional cardiology at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., and in cardiovascular medicine and advanced cardiac imaging research at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
Board certified in internal medicine, interventional cardiology, cardiovascular medicine and cardiovascular computed tomography, Dr. Kumar has been in practice since 2010. He treats patients ages 18 years and older His areas of specialization include medical and invasive management of coronary, peripheral and valvular heart diseases, with clinical interests in structural heart disease, interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular disease and advanced cardiac imaging. He also speaks Hindi and Bengali.
