Dr. Amir Kashani, MD

A native of Houston, Dr. Amir Kashani earned his undergraduate degree at Baylor University and his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed internal medicine training at Rochester General Hospital, University of Rochester School of Medicine, where he served as chief resident/clinical instructor. He attended Yale University School of Medicine for cardiovascular and electrophysiology training where he served as chief fellow. Dr. Kashani also trained in interventional cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine.

Board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, Dr. Kashani  has been involved in clinical cardiovascular research, publishing widely and presenting his findings both nationally and internationally. He currently continues his academic interests through a faculty position at Baylor College of Medicine.

Participating in a variety of sports keeps Dr. Kashani active. He also shares with his wife a special interest in community service, with a particular focus on providing health care to underprivileged children in Houston.
