He then completed fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology-structural heart disease at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston.

His primary clinical interests include transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair (EVAR,) transcatheter mitral valve repair (TMVR), left atrial appendage closure (LAAC), patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure, atrial septal defect (ASD) closure, and coronary, carotid, and lower extremity interventions.
