Dr. Syed Jafri, MD

Dr. Syed Tanzeel Jafri earned his medical degree at Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan, and completed his residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Queens, N.Y.

Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Jafri treats adult patients. In practice since 2009, he has experience in treating stroke, chronic kidney disease, chronic high blood pressure and other chronic conditions.

Continuity of care is a major focus for Dr. Jafri, who sees patients both in hospital and clinic settings. Patients appreciate that he explains conditions thoroughly and develops individualized treatment plans. He educates patients on preventive care and helps them to improve diet and lifestyle choices that support recovery and reduce the incidence of future problems.

The father of three children, Dr. Jafri enjoys painting, both abstracts and calligraphy, in a variety of media, including acrylic paint and colored ink.
