Dr. Syed Ahmed, MD

Dr. Ahmed received his medical degree from Osmania Medical College in Hyperabad, India, where he completed his internship and residency. He then completed additional residency training at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Ahmed has been in practice in the Houston area since 1996. His clinical interests include chronic disease management, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia and high cholesterol.

Fluent in Urdu and Hindi, Dr. Ahmen provides compassionate care to patients 14 years and older. His practice philosophy emphasizes taking time to listen carefully to each patient and making himself available to them.

A Katy resident, Dr. Ahmed and his wife have three children. He enjoys volunteering at schools and is involved in humanitarian activities.
