Dr. Syed Abrar, MD

Dr. Syed Abrar earned his medical degree at Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship training in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York. He earned ophthalmology and bio-chemistry honors in medical school and was named Resident of the Year (medical knowledge) at St. Barnabas.

Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Abrar has been in practice since 2001. He treats patients who are 18 and older and speaks Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and Spanish.

Dr. Abrar’s primary clinical interests are chronic illness care, hypertension management, diabetes management, medication management and ADHD (attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder). His practice philosophy focuses on putting patients first, investing time in their care and ensuring that they have a good experience.

Dr. Abrar lives in Fulshear. In his spare time, he enjoys helping others.
