Dr. Richard Lock, MD

Dr. Richard Lock earned his medical degree from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston. He then completed his residency training in internal medicine at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine.

Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Lock has clinical interests that include preventive medicine and medical problems such as hypertension, cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

In practice in the Sugar Land area since 1994, Dr. Lock treats patients 18 years and older. His practice philosophy is to listen carefully and make himself accessible to each patient. He speaks Cantonese and Mandarin and has a multicultural and multilingual staff. 

A resident of Sugar Land, Dr. Lock and his wife have two sons. When he isn’t  practicing medicine, he enjoys tennis, skiing, basketball and fishing.
