Dr. Rajnikant Kushwaha, MD

Dr. Rajnikant Kushwaha earned his medical degree from GSVM Medical College in Kanpur, India, and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.

Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Kushwaha has been in practice since 1998. He treats patients ages 18 and older and also speaks English, Hindi and Urdu. His staff is trained in Spanish and help as interpreters. Dr. Kushwaha’s primary clinical interests are advanced internal medicine; diabetes screening; management of hypertension, diabetes and other chronic illnesses; acute illnesses; men's health, wellness and preventive care; diagnostic medicine; small wound care , inpatient care, transitional care and immunizations.

His practice is characterized by accessibility and promptness, and he strives to respond directly to patient calls 24/7. He handles both outpatient and inpatient care without intermediary physicians, provides referrals to advanced care and certifies home health as needed for patient limitations.
