Dr. Puja Gandhi earned her undergraduate degree in human biology and anthropology from Emory University in Atlanta, a master’s degree from UTHealth Houston School of Public Health and her medical degree at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. She completed her internship at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago and a residency and fellowship in internal medicine at UTHealth Houston.

Dr. Gandhi is board certified in internal medicine and lifestyle medicine. In practice since 2018, she sees patients ages 18 and older and also speaks Spanish and Gujarati. Her primary clinical interests include adult medicine, chronic illnesses, acute illnesses, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, holistic medicine and lifestyle medicine.

She also serves as an assistant professor and assistant program director in the Department of Internal Medicine at UTHealth Houston.

Dr. Gandhi emphasizes lifestyle changes for her patients that reduce and reverse the burden of chronic disease.

Away from her practice, Dr. Gandhi enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with her family and friends.
