Dr. Nilesh Vyas, MD

Born and raised in India, Dr. Nilesh Vyas earned his medical degree at Baroda Medical College and completed his residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY.

Dr. Vyas, who is board certified in internal medicine, has been in practice in Houston since 2006. He treats adult patients (18 and older) and also speaks Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu and Spanish. While he treats the full range of adult primary care conditions, he specializes in preventive care, geriatric care and hospice care. His other primary clinical interests are chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes and heart disease.

His practice philosophy centers on personalized care and spending time with each patient. He strives to become friends with his patients and their families and treats them with great respect. Patients value his thorough explanations of conditions and treatment plans, the time he takes to answer their questions and the follow-up he provides to them.

A resident of Pearland, Dr. Vyas is married and the father of two adult children and four grandchildren. Away from his practice, he enjoys reading books, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.
