Dr. Vanessa Recavarren, MD

Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Vanessa Recavarren, MD received her medical degree from the Universidad de Chile and completed her residency at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Recavarren acquired a passion for medicine very early in life. With parents in the health care industry, she grew up in an environment where helping and healing others was a core focus.

Dr. Recavarren provides long-term, comprehensive management of both common and complex medical illnesses to patients ages 18 and older. She sees patients for sick visits, diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions and ongoing care for chronic illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes and cardiac conditions.

Compassionate and a good listener, Dr. Recavarren is dedicated to practicing preventive care. She believes in treating the whole person, not just the illness or disease. Dr. Recavarren’s patient-care approach is collaborating and working one-on-one with her patients to achieve optimal health outcomes.

When not working, Dr. Recavarren enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor activities.
