Dr. Judith Aniekwena, MD

Dr. Judith Aniekwena's journey in medicine began at NAU College of Health Sciences, Nigeria, where she earned her medical degree. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Morehouse University School of Medicine.

Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Aniekwena treats patients 18 years and older and has been in practice since 2014. Her primary clinical interests are preventive care, weight management and chronic disease management. She provides evidence-based care for acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes and hypertension, as well as weight and nutrition management and lifestyle interventions.

Committed to providing top-tier, patient-centric and compassionate primary care, she derives her greatest professional satisfaction from helping patients thrive beyond their diagnoses and empowering them with the tools they need to live healthy lives. Dr. Aniekwena aims to genuinely understand her patients’ concerns and offers a personalized strategy to address each person’s unique health care needs.

She is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, Texas Medical Association and Harris County Medical Society.

When she is away from her practice, Dr. Aniekwena enjoys fashion, travelling, spending time with family and friends, and mentoring.
