Dr. Jonah Stulberg earned his medical degree, as well as a master’s in public health policy and a doctorate in health services research, at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his general surgery internship and residency at Case Western Reserve University Hospital.

Dr. Stulberg, who has been in practice since 2010, is board certified in general surgery. He specializes in recurrent and complex abdominal wall hernias and advanced minimally invasive procedures.

He currently serves as associate professor of surgery and director of the Texas Hernia Center at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and is program director for the Abdominal Wall Reconstruction Fellowship at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center. As a principal investigator on federally funded research projects, he studies methods for opioid reduction in surgical prescribing and prevention of drug diversion.

An internationally recognized leader in advanced robotic surgery, Dr. Stulberg is committed to a personal approach to surgical care and providing safe surgery through very small incisions.
