Dr. Brett Solomon, MD

Dr. Brett Solomon earned his Bachelor in Business Administration from the prestigious Canfield Business Honors Program in the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. He went on to receive his medical degree from the UT Health San Antonio Long School of Medicine, where he completed his internship and residency in general surgery.

Board certified in general surgery, Dr. Solomon specializes in advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgery, techniques that typically lead to faster recovery, less postoperative pain and smaller incisions. His clinical focus includes benign disorders and cancers of the gastrointestinal tract—such as stomach, small intestine, colon and gallbladder—as well as hernias and other intra-abdominal conditions.

Dr. Solomon’s approach to patient care is rooted in clear communication, collaboration and trust. He takes pride in his bedside manner and believes that well-informed patients make better decisions about their health. He dedicates time to thoroughly explain each diagnosis, review all available treatment options and guide his patients through every step of their surgical journey—from initial consultation through recovery.

Dr. Solomon is a member of the American College of Surgeons, Texas Medical Association, Harris County Medical Society and J. Bradley Aust Surgical Society.
