Dr. Vivian Asamoah, MD

Dr. Vivian Asamoah earned her medical degree at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

In practice since 2001, Dr. Asamoah is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. Her primary clinical interests include screening and preventive colonoscopy, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), constipation, diarrhea, weight loss, weight gain, viral hepatitis and fatty liver. She treats patients 16 years and older and speaks French, Twi and Spanish.

Dr. Asamoah offers comprehensive gastrointestinal care focusing on prevention, lifestyle and nutrition. Immediate and same-day appointments are available. A resident of the west Houston-Katy area, Dr. Asamoah enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her family when she is away from her practice.
