Board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology, he treats adult patients 18 years of age and older. He treats a wide array of gastrointestinal complaints from abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, weight loss or weight gain, lack of appetite and gastrointestinal bleeding. He has a keen interest in liver and pancreatic diseases, as well as inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndromes. He has special interest in intestinal motility and microbiome. He performs diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopies and colonoscopies as well as screening colonoscopies. He is trained in advance procedures like endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), a procedure used to diagnose diseases of the gallbladder, biliary system, pancreas and liver, as well as endoscopic ultrasound and large polyp removal.
