Dr. Mouhamad Al-Sabbagh, MD

Dr. Mouhamad Al-Sabbagh received his medical degree from the University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine training at Haneman University affiliated program –VA Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and residency at McKeesport Hospital, also in Pennsylvania. This was followed by his fellowship in nutrition and gastroenterology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medical College in New York.  He then completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth and The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center  in Houston.

Board certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology and hepatology, Dr. Al-Sabbbagh has been in practice since 1980.  His clinical interests include diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, biliary and pancreatic diseases, colon cancer screening, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, liver diseases, esophageal reflux and peptic ulcers. Dr. Al-Sabbagh speaks Arabic and Spanish.
