Dr. Cole Thomson, MD

A native Texan, born in Corpus Christ and raised in Houston, Dr. Cole T. Thomson received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency followed by his fellowship in gastroenterology through Weill Cornell Medicine in New York. He also holds a PhD in X-ray crystallography.

Board certified in gastroenterology, Dr. Thomson is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Texas Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. His clinical interests include colon cancer, screenings and cancer prevention.

Dr. Thomson makes himself accessible to his patients and strives to ensure they understand the purpose of each procedure and the necessary preparations involved. He works with the referring physicians to keep them informed of their patients progress and care plans.

When not providing care to his patients, there is a good chance you’ll catch him enjoying the outdoors, hunting quail or spending time at the beach.
