Dr. Yi Zhou, MD

Yi Zhou, MD, earned her medical degree from Southern Medical University, previously known as First Military Medical University, in Guangzhou, China. She went on to complete the Southern Illinios University (SIU) School of Medicine Decatur Family Medicine Residency Program.

Board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), Dr. Zhou specializes in diabetes, geriatrics, high cholesterol, hypertension and hyperthyroidism.

Since 1985, Dr. Zhou has been caring for patients ages 18 years and older. Patients enjoy her personal accessibility and her availability. She takes walk-ins and after-hours calls, and does not use an answering service. Not only does Dr. Zhou care for her patients, she also cares about her patients, and stays highly involved in their treatments. Her patients live in Alief, Bellaire, Houston, Missouri City, Stafford and Sugar Land.

When she is away from her patients, Dr. Zhou enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and two dogs.

She speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and Spanish.
