Dr. Uyi Aisueni, MD

Dr. Uyi Aisueni earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Texas Tech University in Lubbock and his medical degree from Ross University in Bridgetown, Barbados. He completed his residency in the UTHealth McGovern Medical School Family Medicine Residency Program.

Dr. Aisueni, who is board certified in family medicine, treats patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. In addition to board certification, he hold certificates in basic life support, advance cardiovascular life support and advanced life support in obstetrics. He sees patients for conditions such as but not limited to, hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, anxiety, obesity and migraines. Some of his clinical interests include preventive care, mental health and weight management.

Based on his belief that no two patients are the same, he provides highly individualized care. He listens carefully to a patient’s story before making a treatment plan, a vital step in creating a great doctor-patient relationship. He enjoys developing strong relationships with his patients and seeing them improve as they optimize their health.

Dr. Aisueni is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and the Harris County Academy of Family Physicians.

In his spare time Dr Aisueni, a Houston native, enjoys working out, listening to music, playing fantasy football, and spending time with loved ones.
