Dr. Summer Paul, DO

After finishing a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Summer Paul earned a master’s degree in biomedical science and a medical degree at Kansas City University. She completed her family medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Dr. Paul is a board-certified family physician who also holds certificates in basic life support, cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support.

She treats patients of all ages for a full range of chronic and acute primary care conditions, ranging from asthma to the common cold. Her clinical interests include treating chronic illnesses, such as diabetes and high blood pressure, and preventative care, including well-woman exams and mammograms.

Dr. Paul’s approach to care is patient-centered. She considers herself a partner in her patients’ health care journey--someone they can come to for guidance, advice and treatment. She wants them to see her as empathetic, a great listener and a physician with the knowledge base to help them reach their health goals.

A resident of Pearland, Dr. Paul likes to spend her leisure time woodworking, gardening, reading, baking and spending time with her family.
