Dr. Shruja Patel, MD

Dr. Shruja Patel earned her degree in mechanical engineering at The University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree at the Medical University of Lublin (Poland). She completed her internship and residency in family medicine at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.

In practice since 2012, Dr. Patel is board certified in family medicine. Her primary clinical interests are family medicine, wellness visits, weight management, depression, anxiety, management of chronic conditions and minor procedures. She treats patients ages 8 and older and also speaks conversational Spanish.

Dr. Patel is committed to utilizing the most-up-to-date practices and providing her patients with the best possible care. She is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Harris County Medical Society.

Away from her practice, Dr. Patel likes to spend time with her family, travel, work out and read.
