Dr. Rocio Allison, MD

After graduation from medical school at Universidad Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia, Dr. Allison began practicing as a primary care physician at the Hospital San Juan de Dios in Zipaquira, Colombia,where she first developed her love of working with children of all ages. After moving to the United States, she completed her residency at Memorial Family Residency Program in Houston before joining the Memorial Hermann Medical Group.

Nothing is more important to Dr. Allison than helping her patients enjoy many years of healthy living. That’s why she takes a special interest in preventive health care for adults, teens and infants, including dermatology and skin-cancer prevention.

She enjoys addressing the special needs of new moms and performs well-woman exams. She has experience treating patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Allison is a member of the Harris County Family Medicine Association, Harris County Medical Association, American Academy of Family Medicine and the American Medical Association.

She and her family live in Katy.
