Dr. Rochelle Pondt, DO

Dr. Rochelle Pondt earned her medical degree at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio, and completed her internship and residency in family medicine at Doctors Hospital of Stark County in Massillon, Ohio.

Dr. Pondt entered practice in 2005 in Orrville, Ohio, and moved to Houston five years later. Board certified in family practice, she sees patients ages 18 and older. Her primary clinical interests are chronic diseases, such as high blood pressure and diabetes, and preventive medicine.

She likes to get to know her patients and wants them to understand that they can achieve optimal health if they invest the work, patience and time it requires. Because her patients’ needs are always changing, she counsels them to adapt and modify their habits as needed to control their health. Her patients appreciate the quality time she spends with them and her willingness to thoroughly answer their questions.

Dr. Pondt is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, Texas Osteopathic Medicine Association and Harris County Medical Society.

Dr. Pondt is married and the mother of two daughters. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her family, taking road trips to explore new places and going to the beach.
