Dr. Ramiz Momin, MD

After graduating from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in molecular cell biology, Dr. Ramiz Momin earned his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, West Indies. He completed his residency in family medicine at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, Ohio.

Dr. Momin, who is board certified in family medicine, has been in practice since 2018.

He is also certified by the American Heart Association in basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS).

Dr. Momin’s primary clinical interests are longevity and anti-aging medicine, fasting and diabetes, weight management, and integrative medicine, especially alternative methods and different treatment approaches. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association and American College of Physicians.

Because he believes that patients know best in health-related matters, Dr. Momin uses a process of shared decision-making. He provides a comprehensive range of options and allows the patient to determine the best course of action. He wants his patients to feel that he is genuine and down-to-earth and that they can share anything with him. His greatest professional satisfaction comes from gaining a patient’s trust when a treatment is effective.

Away from his practice, Dr. Momin enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, watching movies and shows, playing or watching any sports and cooking--all cuisines, but particularly Indian and American--with his wife.
