Dr. Raja Abusharr, MD

Dr. Raja Abushar earned degrees in English literature and art history before receiving his medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in 2000. He completed his residency at Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Board certified in family practice, Dr. Abushar has practiced in the Woodlands since 2007. He is an assistant clinical professor at Baylor College of Medicine, where he teaches all levels of medical students.

Dr. Abushar focuses on providing the very best level of primary care for both acute and chronic needs. His practice offers exceptional evidence-based medicine in a warm and compassionate environment. They promote active partnership with individuals and their families for the health of the community. He and his caring staff members have a reputation as an "old fashioned family doctor's office."

He is the father of two daughters.  When he is not practicing medicine, he loves taking photographs, gardening outside and listening to jazz.
