Dr. Paula Plummer, MD

Dr. Paula Plummer earned her medical degree at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) and completed her residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Houston.

Board certified in family practice, Dr. Plummer’s clinical interests are preventative medicine and general care of adults and adolescents. She treats patients five years and older and has practiced in Houston since 1982.

Dr. Plummer’s practice philosophy is to evaluate the entire patient in a warm, friendly and caring environment and to make recommendations that are both practical and cost-effective. The family atmosphere in her long-established practice is supported by a loyal and dedicated staff that has been there for several years.

A resident of southwest Houston, Dr. Plummer is the mother of three grown children.  Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her children and dogs, spinning, swimming, yoga and social dancing.
