Dr. Oyetokunbo Ibidapo-Obe, MD

Dr. Oyetokunbo Ibidapo-Obe earned her medical degree in Nigeria at the University of Lagos College of Medicine. She completed her residency in family and community medicine at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., and a fellowship in surgical obstetrics at Altru Health Systems in Grand Forks, N.D. In addition to her board certification, she also holds certificates in advanced life support in obstetrics, advanced trauma life support and neonatal resuscitation.

A board-certified family medicine specialist, Dr. Ibidapo-Obe has been in practice since 2004. She sees patients of all ages for acute primary care, management of chronic illnesses, including diabetes and high blood pressure, and in-office procedures such as ingrown toenail treatment and IUD insertion. Her primary clinical interests include adolescent health, women’s health and weight management.

Dr. Ibidapo-Obe sees herself as a health care partner with her patients. After discussing their concerns with them, she creates a plan of care to improve their quality of life. She hopes her patients say she listens, cares and helps them achieve their health care goals.

She is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, National Medical Association and The Obesity Society.
