After graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Nutrition from the University of Houston, Dr. Noor Alzarka received both Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She completed a family medicine residency at Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program before completing a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
Board-Certified in family medicine and sports medicine, Dr. Alzarka treats patients of all ages, starting at 5 years old. Her dual training equips her to evaluate and manage almost any patient need, including women’s health, pediatric care, chronic conditions, wellness and preventive care, and musculoskeletal conditions and injuries like sprains, broken bones, and concussions. She can also perform office-based procedures such as joint injections. She partners with her patients to achieve their health goals with a holistic approach to wellness, including guidance about nutrition and fitness principles. She speaks English, Arabic, and basic Spanish.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer, watching movies, and spending quality time with her family. She especially enjoys providing medical coverage on the sidelines at local sporting events.
