Dr. Nneka Nvene, MD

Dr. Nneka Nvene earned an undergraduate degree in biology at Texas A&M University, a master’s degree in public health at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at UT Health San Antonio Medical School.

Dr. Nvene is board certified in family medicine and holds a certificate in basic life support. She sees patients aged 18 and older for annual wellness visits, chronic medical conditions, weight loss management and mental health conditions. Her clinical interests include diabetes management, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and weight loss.

Her patient-centered approach combines mental, physical and emotional care to reach the best health outcomes. She wants patients to see her as a kind, compassionate physician who listens and works with them to arrive at a treatment plan that fits their life and overall health needs.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Nvene was an assistant professor of family and community medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians.
