Dr. Najda Mujtaba, MD

After finishing her undergraduate degree at St. Joseph’s College in Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Najda Mujtaba earned her medical degree at Dow Medical College in Karachi. She completed her family medicine residency at Sacred Heart Hospital, Temple University Affiliate, in Allentown, Pa.

Dr. Mujtaba, who is board certified in family medicine, sees patients with chronic medical conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol and acute problems such as colds, sore throat and allergies. Her primary clinical interests include preventive health, women’s health and mental health care.

She connects with her patients through empathizing, listening, educating them and including them in decision-making about their medical care. Dr. Mujtaba sees each patient as a whole person and not just a medical case, and wants them to feel that she is approachable, genuinely invested in their medical care and always supportive of their medical needs.
