Dr. Mohamed Abdelmoula, MD

Dr. Mohamed Abdelmoula earned his medical degree at the Alexandria Medical School in Egypt and completed residency work at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and New York Medical College.  During his residency, he earned a Patient Advocacy Award.

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Abdelmoula has practiced since 1992. He is fluent in Spanish and Arabic and treats patients three years old and up. His clinical interests include diabetes, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, obesity, skin disorders, pediatrics, sports and school physicals, minor lacerations, minor ear-nose-throat procedures, and light obstetrical-gynecological procedures.

Dr. Abdelmoula’s practice philosophy is to provide excellent medical service for his patients. He connects with each individual: listening, spending as much time as needed to know them personally, and caring for them in every way, including when they are hospitalized. When physical problems are the result of issues in patients’ daily lives, he helps bring those problems to light and treats them without medication if possible. 

A resident of Katy, Dr. Abdelmoula is married and the father of two children.  His favorite activities are fishing, sports and dining out.
