Dr. Schimelpfenig, who is board certified in family medicine, provides primary care for adult patients in all life stages. He provides comprehensive care for acute and chronic conditions ranging from the common cold to diabetes and high blood pressure.

His primary clinical interests are adult medicine, well exams, physicals, high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol/triglyceride management, hyperlipidemia, cholesterol screening, cancer screening, management of chronic illness, men's issues, sinusitis, hives, depression, heart burn, back pain, joint pain, benign prostatic hypertrophy, bronchitis and immunizations.

Dr. Schimelpfenig believes that high-quality primary care begins with a foundation of mutual trust and an ongoing commitment to health and well-being. He emphasizes lifestyle and preventive medicine to encourage healthy living choices that can help to prevent or reverse medical problems.

Outside of the office, he enjoys reading, playing tennis, watching the tennis grand slam events and traveling.
