Dr. Luis Diaz, MD

Dr. Luis Diaz earned undergraduate degrees in microbiology and biochemistry from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and his medical degree from National Autonomous University School of Medicine in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

Dr. Diaz, who is board-certified in family medicine, sees patients of all ages. While his primary clinical interest is preventing heart attacks and strokes and managing lipids, he provides all types of primary care. In addition to English, he speaks Spanish fluently.

Dr. Diaz’s approach to care centers on trust-building, long-term relationships and teamwork with patients. Among the tools he uses are imaging and advanced lipid studies, which provide the best-available information for helping them make good decisions about their health. Building trust provides Dr. Diaz with his greatest professional reward: knowing that patients have entrusted him and given him the privilege of being involved in their health care.

He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Medical Association, Texas Academy of Family Physicians and Harris County Medical Society.

Dr. Diaz, a resident of The Woodlands, is married and the father of two children.
