Dr. Katherine Holzman, DO

Katherine Holzman, DO, earned her doctor of osteopathic medicine from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Midwestern University, and completed her residency training at LBJ Hospital, Memorial Hermann Hospital and Acres Home Family Practice clinic. In addition, she completed her Family Medicine Residency at UT Houston. Dr. Holzman’s clinical interests are women's health, chronic disease management including type 2 diabetes, anxiety and depression. Board certified, Dr. Holzman sees patients of all ages.

Dr. Holzman said she chose to specialize in family “because I love creating relationships with patients and following them throughout their lives.” The foundation of her patientcentered practice is working in partnership with her patients to tailor a treatment plan that makes sense for their lifestyle and helps them reach their wellness goals.

As a doctor of osteopathic medicine, Dr. Holzman also takes an all-encompassing approach to patient care, treating the physical, social and psychological well-being of her patients. She treats patients for chronic disease management for conditions such as hypertension and diabetes; and sees patients for preventive health as well as acute episodic care for conditions like cold, flu, and sinus infections.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities and gardening.
