Dr. Joshua Sacaciu earned his medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Auburn, Ala., and completed his residency in the East Carolina University Family Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Sacaciu, who is board certified in family medicine, has been in practice since 2021. He provides primary care for both acute and chronic conditions, such as high blood pressure and diabetes, and preventative care. A primary clinical interest is musculo-skeletal medicine--diseases that affect the joints and bones and the different options (including anti-inflammatories, physical therapy or injections) that provide a patient with relief.
His approach to care ensures that patients understand where they are in the medical decision-making process, the importance of shared medical decision-making and the different treatment options available so they can decide which is best for them. He practices medicine by the Golden Rule—treating others as he would want to be treated by another physician.
Away from his practice, Dr. Sacaciu enjoys cooking, reading, outdoor activities, singing and nutrition.
