Dr. Javeria Farooqui, MD

Dr. Javeria Farooqui earned her medical degree at Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed an internship at Jinnah Medical and Dental College in Karachi and an internship and residency at Michigan State University.

Dr. Farroqui, who is board certified in family medicine, has been in practice in the United States since 2006. She treats patients two years and older and speaks Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi. Her primary clinical interests are preventive care, management of chronic medical conditions, counseling and contraception management.

She believes in educating patients so they can participate in their own health care. Her patients find her to be very friendly, knowledgable, caring and easy to talk to. She listens attentively and answers questions thoroughly.

A resident of Houston, Dr. Farooqui is married and the mother of three children. Her favorite leisure activities are gardening and spending time with her family.
