Dr. David Adewole, MD

Dr. David Adewole earned both his bachelor’s degree in biology and medical degree at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana and completed his internship and residency in family medicine at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Delta International University in New Orleans.

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Adewole has been in practice since 2004. He treats patients of all ages. His primary clinical interests are family medicine, internal medicine, primary care and wellness visits. He also speaks Spanish and Arabic.

Convenient, concise, comprehensive and compassionate medical care characterizes Dr. Adewole’s practice philosophy. Patients appreciate his communication skills, trustworthiness, reliability, holistic care and up-to-date knowledge. He takes time to explain things in a way that makes sense and listens carefully so his patients feel heard. Rather than treating only symptoms, he considers the whole person—lifestyle, mental health and goals.

Dr. Adewole is a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, Texas Association of Family Practitioners and International Rehabilitation Forum.

A husband and father, he enjoys travel, swimming, golf and international missions when he is away from his practice.
