Dr. Daniel Nwachokor, MD

A native of Fort Bend County, Dr. Daniel A. Nwachokor is proud to be practicing family medicine in the community where he grew up. His love of medicine began when he was a student at the Hightower High School Medical Science Academy in Fort Bend ISD. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Grambling State University, he earned his Master of Public Health and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Kansas School of Medicine.  He returned to the Houston area to complete his family medicine internship and residency through the Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program in Sugar Land.

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Nwachokor treats patients in all stages of life – from newborns to seniors. His clinical interests include preventive medicine, chronic disease management and nutrition counseling. Dr. Nwachokor’s patients appreciate his genuine concern for their health and how he communicates with them in ways they can easily understand their conditions and treatments. He also speaks Spanish.

Dr. Nwachokor has a passion for community service and training future health professionals. He is active in numerous professional and philanthropic organizations at the local, state and national levels.

Spending time with his family is important to Dr. Nwachokor. He also enjoys swimming, golf and traveling.
