Dr. Amini received her medical degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center. She completed her family medicine residency at Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program, where she served as chief resident. She completed her fellowship in sports medicine at JPS Primary Sports Medicine Fellowship Program in Arlington.
Dr. Amini treats patients 5 years and older. She provides care for sports and musculoskeletal-related injuries, including concussions, fractures, strains and sprains, as well as wellness and preventive medicine. Dr. Amini’s clinical interests include exercise prescription, nutritional counseling, return to sport and exercise management, joint injections and ultrasound-guided procedures, regenerative medicine and preventive medicine. Additionally, she provides care for acute and chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, high cholesterol, hypertension and arthritis.
Dr. Amini enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients and considers herself a health coach for them. As a former athlete, she understands the need and requirements for optimal health; she hopes she can help all her patients live their healthiest lives while they are under her medical care.
In her spare time, Dr. Amini enjoys traveling, fitness, cooking and baking, as well as spending time with her dogs.
