Dr. Aminat Bobcombe, DO

Dr. Aminat Bobcombe earned her undergraduate degree in psychology at Howard University in Washington, DC and her medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pa. She completed her family medicine residency at Medical City Fort Worth, where she was selected as co-chief resident.

Dr. Bobcombe is board certified in family medicine. She sees patients of all ages for chronic conditions like diabetes or high blood pressure, acute conditions such as headaches and viral illness and weight loss. Her primary clinical interests include women’s health, weight loss and early disease prevention—particularly diabetes and high blood pressure—when early detection can help patients reverse the course.

Her collaborative approach to care incorporates a whole-person perspective. She wants to consider a patient’s background, history and culture, as well as the person’s perception of medicine, before they cooperatively develop a treatment plan.

Dr. Bobcombe wants her patients to see her as a good listener and an empathetic physician who makes them feel comfortable and helps them reach their health goals. She strives to build life-long relationships with not only her patients, but also their families.
