Dr. Alexandra Ecker, MD

Dr. Ecker earned her undergraduate degree in biological sciences from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg and her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed her residency in the Memorial Hermann Family Medicine Residency Program.

Dr. Ecker, who is board certified in family medicine, sees patients of all ages for acute and chronic conditions, preventive care and women’s health needs. Her primary clinical interests include preventive care, women’s health, sports injuries and mental health.

Her approach to patient care begins with getting to know patients beyond their medical conditions. She works with patients to create a whole picture of their health and design a treatment plan that fits best with their overall health care needs. She wants patients to feel heard and part of a team to create a personalized treatment plan.

She is a member of the American Medical Association, American Association of Family Physicians and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
