Dr. Amir Hassan, MD

Dr. Amir A. Hassan earned his medical degree at Jinnah Sindh Medical College, formerly known as Sindh Medical College, in Karachi, Pakistan. After moving to  New York, he completed an internship and residency at United Health Services (UHS) Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, New York. His fellowship brought him to Houston, where he completed additional training with Baylor College of Medicine.

Board certified in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, Dr. Hassan cares for patients ages 18 years and older, and is fluent in Hindi and Urdu. He specializes in treating adrenal gland diseases, diabetes mellitus (type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes), hyperlipidemia (hyperlipoproteinemia), hypertension (high blood pressure), osteoporosis, pituitary gland diseases and thyroid gland diseases (abnormal thyroid), including parathyroid disease (hyperparathyroidism). Additionally,  he provides internal medicine care.

Many of his patients live in Deer Park, Friendswood, Galena Park, Houston, League City, Pasadena, Pearland, South Houston or Webster. Dr. Hassan is known for his compassionate, personable approach to patient care.

When Dr. Hassan is away from his patients, he is usually spending time in Sugar Land with  his wife and two children.
