Dr. Rony Ninan earned his undergraduate degree in biology from The University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in neurology and a fellowship in neurophysiology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
Board certified in neurology and neurophysiology, Dr. Ninan has been in practice since 2008 and treats patients ages 18 and older.
His clinical interests encompass general neurology, clinical neurophysiology, stroke and epilepsy, with primary clinical interests that include hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke, transient ischemic attack (TIA), seizure management, musculoskeletal issues, neuropathy, intra-operative monitoring and headache management, including migraines and tension headaches.
Dr. Ninan provides outpatient and inpatient neurology care, as well as interpretation of various neurophysiological tests, such as EEG (electroencephalogram), evoked potentials, EMG (electromyography) and NCS (nerve conduction study).
A diligent advocate for his patients, Dr. Ninan sees every patient relationship as a partnership developed by trust, mutual respect, communication and, most important, listening carefully to the concerns of the patient. He believes in empowering patients with the tools and knowledge they need to share decision-making about their health.
Born and raised in Pasadena, Texas, Dr. Ninan now lives in Sugar Land. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, playing sports and spending time with his family.
