Dr. David Ryan Hall earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City. He completed his general surgery residency at East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tenn., where he was named outstanding resident. He then completed an abdominal organ transplant surgery fellowship at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. Following his fellowship, Dr. Hall joined the Transplant Center at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston.

Board certified in general surgery and accredited in transplant surgery, Dr. Hall specializes in general surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, kidney transplantation, liver transplantation, pancreas transplantation and pancreatic surgery. He offers his patients comprehensive, team-oriented, specialized care that does not end when the surgery is over. With the goal of helping patients resume normal, active lives, , he treats each patient the way he would like to be treated.

Dr. Hall is an assistant professor of immunology and organ transplant in the Department of Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston. He is also a member of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS), the Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (AHPBA) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS).

In his free time, Dr. Hall enjoys golf, endurance sports, hunting and fishing. He loves spending time with his wife and three children.
