Dr. Paul Subrt, MD

Dr. Paul Subrt, who grew up in Houston, earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where he also completed his residency in dermatology.

In practice since 1980, Dr. Subrt is board certified in dermatology. His primary clinical interest is rare skin diseases, and he has extensive experience in actinic keratosis, acne, moles, rashes, excision, skin cancer (including basal cell), psoriasis, skin biospies, melanoma and rosacea.  He treats patients from newborns to seniors and speaks Czech.

Dr. Subrt is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and serves on the visiting faculty of the Dermatology Department at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He is part of a father-and-son practice that has served the Katy area for more than 35 years.  His patients value him as a knowledgeable, trustworthy, no-nonsense physician who listens to what they have to say, takes time to answer questions, checks for other areas of concern and doesn’t make them feel rushed.

A resident of Katy, Dr. Subrt is married and the father of two grown children who are part of his practice. His favorite leisure activities are spending time with his family, skiing and sports.
