Dr. Chinelo Ikpeama Fangtang, MD, MBA, grew up in Friendswood, Tx and graduated summa cum laude from Clear Brook High School and Texas Tech University. She went on to earn a dual graduate degree in medicine and health administration from Texas Tech University Health Sciences School of Medicine, where she was inducted into prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her internship at the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School and her residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, during which she served as chief resident in dermatology.
A board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Fangtang has been in practice since 2014. Her clinical interests include medical, surgical, cosmetic and skin-of-color dermatology. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and all skin types and believes such diversity in patient population is what makes dermatology an exciting field.
Dr. Fangtang maintains membership in the American Academy of Dermatology, the Houston Dermatological Society, the Texas Dermatologic Society, Harris County Medical Society and the Houston Medical Forum.
A proud Houstonian, Dr. Fangtang is a fan of the Houston Rockets and Astros. When away from her practice, she enjoys exercising, cooking, podcasts, TV/film, traveling, trying new eateries and spending time with family and friends.
