Dr. Bj Gill, MD

Dr. B.J. Gill was born in Guam and grew up in Hawaii and Dallas. His undergraduate degree in chemical engineering is from the University of Southern California. Through a dual-degree Medical Scientist Training Program, he earned an MD from Baylor College of Medicine and a PhD in bioengineering from Rice University. He completed an internship in internal medicine and a residency in dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine, where he served as chief resident. 

Dr. Gill, who is board certified in dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD), has practiced since 2014. His clinical interests include skin cancer, psoriasis, infectious dermatology, autoimmune blistering disorders and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Gill’s clinical philosophy combines a scientific knowledge base with a friendly and approachable communication style.

Dr. Gill has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed bioengineering and dermatology journals and has presented his work at scientific and clinical meetings. He has also mentored dermatology students and led dermatology teaching conferences for residents and trainees from different medical specialties.

In his leisure time, Dr. Gill enjoys fancy food, craft cocktails, complicated board games and cats.
