A native Texan, Dr. Lucrecia Sta.Ana received her medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Subsequently, she completed her general surgery residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, followed by her colon and rectal surgical residency at the Colon and Rectal Clinic of Orlando in Orlando, Florida.

Board certified in colon and rectal surgery, Dr. Sta.Ana has practiced medicine since 2008. She treats all aspects of colon and rectal disease; ranging from colorectal cancers to hemorrhoids to fecal incontinence.

Dr. Sta.Ana offers the most advanced minimally invasive procedures to treat each patient. She strives to stay on top of cutting-edge technology such as robotic surgery for bowel resection and sacral nerve stimulation for fecal incontinence. She speaks Spanish.

In her spare time, Dr. Sta. Ana enjoys exploring new restaurants and travelling with her husband and two children.
